Hitman (2007)
Last night I had the opportunity to waste 90 minutes of my sleep time. I must admit, I played this game just a few times, but as a movie it was even less convincing.
I may say it is at least a shallow plagiarism from: Bourne (all of them), Equilibrium and I,Robot – because of the heavy Audi advertising. The story brings nothing new, just a few cliches with a programmed murderer who becomes a sensitive human being after a quite obvious set-up. As mentioned before, moves are from Bourne and Equilibrium, but it is hard to digest bold hitmen with a bar code on their had. There should be beeping when they leave any store. I can’t figure it out what is harder: finding a limited edition Audi S5 (not more than 100 in Russia yet) or finding these bold hitmen. The Interpol-CIA-exKGB triangle is a boring, and the US always fucks the EU and Russia.
I consider a complete loss of imagination to call something “the organization” or “the agency”. It seems that everybody is outsourcing its killing activity, no matter how influent they are. The last detail that bothers me: I am really tired of movies that dramatically present the “first killing” as losing your virginity in this field – it is something for a normal person, but in this setting it is just boring!
Overall, sucked!
